THE WORK
There's content, and then there's story. AI can fill space. Story hooks readers.
It's in the structure -- how the facts are revealed. How it's set up. And the surprise held till the end. If you need to fill space, that's easy to do these days. It's a prompt with Chat GPT away. If you're here, you might just want content designed to engage.
Because great stories make the reader come back. They give the reader an experience. At least a crazy fact they didn't know, or at best a great ending that sticks with them. Great stories make your audience tell someone else, "hey, you gotta check this out."
It's always my goal. No matter what the topic, I hope to deliver content that engages, and takes the reader on an entertaining trip.
My focus has been on the strange-but-true. The entertaining fringe. Bringing viewers into the moment an Air Force pilot saw a formation of silver flying objects over the Gulf of Mexico. Or when Hoover decided he would spy on Martin Luther King, Jr.
But whatever the topic, a good story can make it better. And sometimes even great.
Whether your explaining a medical breakthrough to cure cancer, or selling someone on an innovative toothbrush.
I currently write for the subscription newsletter The Conspiracy Report. Previously I wrote YouTube scripts for the popular Why Files channel.
